The LEGS Evaluation Tool has been revised and updated in line with the 2nd edition of the Handbook, and is now available to download here and also from the LEGS Resources page.
The Tool provides a selection of evaluation indicators based on Key Actions, Standards or Guidance Notes from the LEGS Handbook, with a simple scoring process, to support the evaluation of livestock-based interventions in emergencies. Using the principles of the core standards, it covers the six technical areas of LEGS: destocking, veterinary support, feed, water, shelter and provision of livestock.
