We are pleased to announce that the 3rd edition of the LEGS Handbook (English version) is now available. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and talents throughout the revision process, in particular the LEGS Technical Advisory Group, Handbook Editor Helen de Jode, the chapter revision authors, and everyone who submitted comments on the draft 3rdย edition during the consultation phase or provided technical support.
Key improvements in this edition include:
- expanded guidance on response planning and creation of LEGS Principles
- greater emphasis on preparedness through the creation of new technical standards; and
- updated and increased information on key issues including cash and voucher responses, inclusion, and local ownership.
The Handbook also features more accessible formatting and language, and improved graphics and use of colour to help navigation. Case studies are now presented on a dedicated web page. Go to the 3rd edition web page to get links to view, download or purchase a copy.
