LEGS is seeking a consultant to develop a Technical Brief focused on the application of LEGS guidance on Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) in the context of livestock-based emergency response. The objective is to present and elaborate the updated CVA guidance in the new LEGS Handbook and demonstrate how it may be applied in livestock-based emergency response. The paper will draw on the evidence base of CVA application in the livestock sector and other emergency response sectors.
The Technical Brief is expected to be 8-10 pages in length, plus annexes as required. The Brief will be published on the LEGS website following professional editing and design.
The consultant should have at least 15 years’ experience in livestock and emergency response, with particular understanding of livestock-based livelihoods and experience using CVA, along with excellent writing skills.
